I just made another snus order and had the opportunity to buy a pack of 3 different cans of nicotine pouches for about $5, this can is one of them. Since I’m used to using snus, I’ll try to be as forgiving as I can while trying these out. Nordic Spirit Elderflower is a nicotine pouch created by Nordic Snus in Sweden, who also produces the classic swedish snus LD. To be clear, this is the mini version, there is a regular one too. Lets try it out!
Smell
When opening the can you will be met by a pretty strong, sweet and a somewhat chemical smell. It is not really a good smell if you get too close, the further away you are, the better it smells. If you have tried other nicotine pouches you probably know what I’m talking about.
Taste
The taste of elderflower is definetly there, sweet but not too sweet. It’s actually kinda fresh. Not something I would use on the daily, but as small treat now and then, definetly! If you are looking for a sweet nicotine pouch for daily use, this one is for you.
How long does the taste last?
I would say that the taste lasts for about 10 to 15 minutes, It slowly fades away. From what I’ve read about other nicotine pouches, that’s pretty much what you could expect. If you move it around a little, you can still get some more taste from it. The taste doesn’t really change over time, which is good. It just fades away, it doesn’t taste bad if you have it in for a longer period of time.
The pouch
Since this is the mini version, they are pretty small, which is what you should expect from something named ”Mini” For me personally, it’s way to small to replace snus, but it is what it is. The pouch itself feels very high-quality and soft, actually way better than most big snus brands.
Strenght
The strenght is 2 out of 4 with 3 mg per pouch which fits me really good. I’m not looking for a ”nicokick” everytime I take a snus. Since I haven’t used these for long enough I can’t say how well it meets my daily need for nicotine. However, it should be about the same as my current daily driver Kronan vit, since it’s also 2 out of 4 on the scale.

I’m actually a bit impressed since I’m not really into nicotine pouches, for now. The taste was quite pleasant, but not something I would want for daily use. The smell, was pretty good – from a distance. The pouch quality was great, I was actually a bit surprised.
All in all, it was okay. If you’re into nicotine pouches, I’d say you should give Nordic Spirit Elderflower a try.
